I am so Proud of this award, I have dedicated my life to helping others stay safe, to coaching organisations how to take care of their people!
This is a lifetime achievement award, assessed by peers and awarded in front of the biggest names in the industry. Thank you #CHOlearning:
In CHOLearning's words: Andy Barker (of www.orgtree.me) has been recognized with the Applied Excellence in Learning Award for his exemplary application of learning principles that drive significant and tangible results.
What this means to you, reading this post?
It means that orgtree.me know how to operationalise safety, via your values. We know how to practically adapt what you already have to deliver transformational results.
The award submission meant proving the difference that was made, the impact, the changes in performance.
The award wasn't given because of theoretical knowledge, the submission had to prove the practical, sustained application in a business via a case study, had to prove that performance changed and we knew not only why, but delivered what we set out to acheive.
The submission proved that safety is a route to outstanding business performance, that employee wellbeing can be achieved through adjustments in professional interactions, that inclusion is a path to better decision making and better business outcomes.
Fundamentally, safety is a business tool, and orgtree has proven that dignity, respect and trust are paths to social wellbeing, a great employee experience and outstanding business (and also safety) performance.
It almost goes without saying, that I am delighted that my good friend Georgina Poole has been honored with the prestigious Visionary Vanguard Award for her innovative contributions and forward-thinking approach in advancing human and organizational learning.
